  • carry out education and training for keepers, land managers and owners,
  • promote research into uplands-associated problems.

The money raised from our memberships allows the Heather Trust to carry out more charitable work than would otherwise be possible. Please consider joining the Heather Trust to keep yourself informed about moorland issues and to support the work we do.

Members receive

  • for those with Estate membership, a 10% discount from the cost of Advisory Visits,

  • a free source of telephone advice and information,

  • representation of their interests in the upland debate throughout the UK,

  • an invitation to the AGM, which is usually combined with an estate visit,

  • a copy of the Trust's Annual Report in August, including the Members Supplement

  • a copy of the Country Market & Sporting Sale Catalogue in March

  • and helps further the aims of The Heather Trust.
