About the event

Welcome to The Heather Trust's Annual Update Day; this year at Moor House, in the Upper Teesdale National Nature Reserve.

Generously supported by the Joseph Nickerson Charitable Foundation, the event features an in-depth site visit at Moor House, as well as presentations from Rob Marrs, Andreas Heinemeyer, Martin Furness, Katrina Candy, David Jarrett, Dave Baines and other knowledgable experts.

We'll start the day by meeting at the High Force Hotel for a cup of coffee and a morning briefing, followed by the site visit at Moor House. In the afternoon a buffet lunch will be served back at the hotel, after which there'll be time for our afternoon discussion.

You can also join us the night prior for a unique supper and stargazing experience at the High Force waterfall, led by a local astronomer!

Members of The Heather Trust get 10% off their ticket to the Update Day. For more details on this, please check your inbox for your discount code from Eventbrite, or email Amy - amy.smith@heathertrust.co.uk.

Due to the especially rural location of our site visit, we will be meeting at the High Force Hotel before heading out in convoy to the location at Moor House. The post code of the hotel is DL12 0XH.
