We trust you had a good festive season and wish you a happy and healthy 2025.

Here at The Heather Trust we are excited to deliver new initiatives and continue to deliver on our strategic objectives during the year ahead.

We would like to take this opportunity to remind you of a change to our membership options. We recently reviewed our current membership structure with a view to better understanding our supporter demographic. Our membership fees have remained static for a number of years, and it became apparent that we needed to implement a modest increase from the start of 2025 to better support our charitable activities and promote the importance of sustainable, resilient moorlands across the UK.

Therefore, as of 1st January 2025, membership fees will be: Individual: £60; Estate & Business: £150; Student / Gamekeeper: £25; Junior (under 16): £15; Life: £750; Over-55’s Life: £500. There are also options to make regular or one-off donations and legacy giving. If you currently pay your membership subscription by standing order or direct debit, please can we ask you to amend as appropriate.

We continuously review our membership benefits which currently include regular e-newsletters, Annual Review, discounted rates for events, invitation to our AGM and annual site visit, competitions and access to our research. Again, in response to our survey, we hope to offer more, exclusive opportunities in the near future.
