Where is moorland management going?

This year’s Heather Trust AGM and conference took place in the village of Burnsall in the southern area of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The theme for the day was, “Where is moorland management going?” A question that many moorland owners and managers will be asking as we enter a period of uncertainty about future government support for our uplands and increasing pressure from conservation groups questioning how grouse moors are managed.
